Free Comic Book Day - Saturday, May 2, 2015

Come celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the Library. Kick things off with an all-day Marvel Movie Marathon starting at 9:30 a.m., check out a local artist at work in the afternoon, and don’t forget to grab your free comic book for coming to the Library! Want to add to the fun?? Come dressed as your favorite comic character!! Superhero storytime for the kids! There will be events and free comics for comic book lovers of ALL AGES.

  1. What is Free Comic Book Day? As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating libraries and comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes in.

  2. When is Free Comic Book Day? Free Comic Book Day is held the first Saturday in May each year.

  3. Are they really free? Yes! While supplies last, everyone who attends may take up to five free comic books. There will be a wide choice of comics for readers of all interests and ages.
