Summer Reading Book Review - My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry

Book Title: My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry

Author: Fredrik Backman

Reviewed By: Julie J.

Seven-year-old Elsa has grown up adoring her grandmother and the stories she tells her. However when Elsa's grandmother dies, her grandmother sets her on a mission to deliver letters to people her grandmother has known over the years. Letters to tell people she is sorry. Along her journey, Elsa learns more about her grandmother, both good and bad. Elsa meets lots of quirky people along the way whose stories we also get drawn into. One of those characters is Britt-Marie who Backman later featured in his book Britt-Marie Was Here. My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry highlights the beautiful relationship between Elsa and her grandmother.
